Automation Engineer

Core4ce is looking for an Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Development, configuration, implementation, and testing of web front end server using JS, and HTML5.

• Development, configuration, implementation, and testing of multiple network platforms to streamline operations.

• Develop an automation framework to couple with other internal technology standards.

• Develop validation and testing procedures around network systems.

• Manage development of complex automation solutions to work with existing and new network technologies such as switches, routers, and firewalls.

• Write and maintain software to solve complex network management tasks such as: Provision and deploy network devices and auditing configuration. Integrate network function ( e.g. DNS and DHCP) provisioning into software engineering pipelines.

• Deploying firewall rules while utilizing internal business processes for checks and balances.

• Design, deploy, and maintain network systems.

• Create, maintain , and update documentation of network systems.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent experience plus 5 or more years' experience in a network engineering or telecommunication environment

• Prior Software Engineering experience building automation systems.

• Prior experience leading technological and cultural change in the network environment.

• Demonstrated experience with Python, SaltStack , and various Web Development Technologies.

• Experience using common scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell , Perl.

• Experience in testing and validation of Palo Alto Firewall and Cisco devices.

• Secret clearance or higher preferred

• 8570 compli ance (Active Security and OS certifications

• Experience with Configuration Management utilities ( SaltStack , Ansible , etc.)

• Experience with development pipeline toolsets ( Git , Unit Tests, Jenkins, etc.)

• Practical experience with web development

• Experience developing with common API frameworks ( Netconf , Rest, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of web services technologies such as IIS, Apache, Tomcat.
