Responsibilities
Bluehawk is supporting a Prime bid effort with our partners to support NGA's Assurance and Governance Office (QA) Accreditation of AI Models (AGAIM) program. This effort supports the accreditation and validation of AI models applied to operational imagery datasets to ensure algorithms perform as intended in real-world mission environments.
We are seeking Imagery Scientists at the Middle, Senior, and Expert levels with experience supporting Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) or Electro-Optical (EO) imagery analysis, remote sensing, imagery processing, and AI/ML-enabled exploitation workflows.
These positions support NGA mission initiatives involving imagery exploitation, sensor phenomenology, algorithm development/testing, and operational AI accreditation activities.
Position Levels
• Middle Level - 5 experience points
• Senior Level - 10 experience points
• Expert Level - 18 experience points
Qualifications
Clearance Requirements
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Must be willing to obtain or maintain a CI Polygraph
Core Responsibilities
• Identify, acquire, and prepare imagery datasets supporting AI accreditation efforts
• Analyze SAR or EO imagery and assess image quality, sensor metadata, and exploitation outputs
• Support AI/ML model validation against operational imagery datasets
• Develop or support new analytic methodologies, workflows, algorithms, and exploitation techniques
• Communicate imagery capabilities and limitations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support multi-INT analysis and advanced geospatial exploitation activities
Required Skills May Include
• SAR or EO imagery exploitation experience
• Understanding of remote sensing, phenomenology, and imagery processing
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, scripting, or data exploitation tools
• Experience with geospatial analysis and visualization
• Experience conducting multi-INT analysis
• Familiarity with AI/ML or computer vision applications related to imagery exploitation
Desired Skills
• Experience applying machine learning or computer vision to imagery analysis
• Experience with Google Earth Engine, SARPy, MATLAB SAR Toolbox, or related tools
• Knowledge of imagery quality metrics, metadata analysis, and operational exploitation workflows
