Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to support a large-scale ERP modernization initiative within a highly regulated federal environment. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting Master Data Governance (MDG) capabilities within an SAP S/4HANA landscape, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and compliant master data across enterprise domains.
This is a 75% remote position with approximately 25% quarterly travel to the Washington, DC metro area.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance .

Responsibilities
- Configure and support the SAP MDG framework, including data modeling, UI modeling (Floorplan Manager), and process modeling
- Assist in the design and implementation of change request workflows, leveraging BRFplus for validation and routing logic
- Maintain and enhance standard MDG data models (e.g., Finance, Business Partner, Materials), including support for custom attributes
- Support data integration and distribution using the Data Replication Framework (DRF) and monitor system interfaces (e.g., IDocs, SOA services)
- Assist in data consolidation and mass processing, including deduplication and initial data load activities
- Troubleshoot MDG issues related to workflows, replication, and user interface functionality
- Partner with functional teams to ensure master data supports end-to-end business processes and aligns with best practices
- Support data quality monitoring and remediation activities using MDG Data Quality Management (DQM) tools
- Analyze system logs and replication errors (e.g., SLG1, SRT_MONI) to maintain data consistency across systems
- Maintain technical documentation related to data models, workflows, and governance processes
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required with an Active Secret Clearance or higher
- 5+ years of experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), including implementation or support
- Experience working with at least one MDG domain (e.g., Finance, Business Partner, Supplier, or Material)
- Foundational knowledge of the SAP MDG technical stack, including ABAP, BRFplus, and Web Dynpro/Floorplan Manager
- Understanding of S/4HANA Business Partner architecture and its integration with MDG
- Experience with data replication, integration, and troubleshooting tools (e.g., DRF, SLG1, SRT_MONI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data integrity and quality
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Experience with SAP ETL tools or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus
- Experience in a federal or highly regulated environment preferred
- Familiarity with data governance, audit readiness, and compliance standards is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

- W2 Hourly rate starts at $70.54. Pay rates are based on experience and qualifications, and are subject to change at any time.
