Position Summary
We are currently seeking prospective candidates for an upcoming opportunity with the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). This requirement provides critical mission support across various technical, program management, and administrative functions to assist ORR in its mission to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees and unaccompanied children. The Senior Training and Technical Assistance Manager oversees curriculum development, stakeholder support, and knowledge management for Refugee Resettlement and Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) programs.
Candidates must reside in the Washington-D.C. area full-time but able to travel intermittently in support of ORR-funded programs across the continental United States.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:
Oversee the preparation of automated training materials, such as video-recorded sessions and computer-aided tutorials.

- Conduct research to develop and revise training courses, including outlines, handouts, and visual aid materials.
- Direct in-person and web-based instruction, including classroom sessions, seminars, and workshops.
- Research and draft technical assistance deliverables and guidance documents based on professional standards and monitoring findings.
- Create and maintain an internal knowledge base and common articles to assist users with system-related questions.
- Identify audiences requiring guidance and provide recommendations to federal staff on the appropriate mode of delivery.
- Coordinate with federal staff to ensure training materials align with government priorities and meet stated objectives.
- Maintain records of all training activities and conduct evaluations to measure program effectiveness.
- Develop documentation for best practices and lessons learned to refine future training curricula.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in instructional design, technical assistance, or professional training.
- Leadership: Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject; Master's degree preferred.
- Certification: Certified Professional in Training and Development (CPTD) or similar certification preferred.
