Job Description
The Network Engineer will support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure across LAN/WAN environments. This role is responsible for configuring and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, and core networking technologies while ensuring reliable network performance and connectivity.
Responsibilities include monitoring network availability, troubleshooting connectivity and latency issues, supporting routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, performing root cause analysis, and assisting with infrastructure upgrades and network projects. The role also requires travel to remote locations to perform network installations, troubleshooting, and provide status updates to program personnel. Occasional after-hours and weekend support may be required.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of network engineering experience
- Active Secret Security Clearance and valid U.S. passport
- IAT Level II 8570 Certification (Security+, CISSP, SSCP, etc.)
- CCNA or JNCIA Certification
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, GRE tunnels, and WAN technologies
- Hands-on experience with firewalls including Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
- Strong troubleshooting, network analysis, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Visio
Preferred Qualifications
- Top Secret Clearance
- CCNP or JNCIP Certification
- Experience with network automation using Ansible
- Knowledge of DoD security practices, STIG compliance, and system accreditation
- Prior C2BMC experience
