Job Summary: Information Technology - Embedded S/W Engineer

Join a high-impact defense technology team in Grand Prairie, TX as an Embedded Software Engineer. Leverage your advanced C/C++ and real-time embedded systems expertise to develop mission-critical solutions with hands-on Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) systems. Work alongside leaders in the field, contribute to complex simulation environments, and expand your skills in a collaborative, growth-focused setting.
[Responsibilities]
- Design, develop, integrate, and test real-time embedded software for advanced defense and simulation systems.
- Implement and maintain C/C++ code (C++11 or higher) on Linux-based platforms and Real-Time Operating Environments.
- Execute HWIL integration and validation for embedded systems.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust software solutions.
- Participate in simulation system development and support system-level verification activities.
- Document software design, code, and test procedures to meet rigorous quality standards.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 8+ years' hands-on experience in real-time embedded software engineering.
- Proficiency in C and C++ (C++11 or higher).
- In-depth knowledge of Linux systems and real-time operating environments.
- Demonstrated HWIL experience with embedded systems.
- BS degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Active SECRET Clearance.
- Availability to work Mon-Thurs, 4/10A-1st Shift, on-site in Grand Prairie, TX.

- Ada development experience.
- Full software development lifecycle involvement.
- Experience with cross-discipline teams.
- Familiarity with Git, GitLab, and JIRA.
