We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly trusted FOIA / EEO Redaction Analyst to support a sensitive Intelligence Community customer onsite in McLean, Virginia. In this role, you will help protect classified information, personally identifiable information (PII), and sensitive investigative records while ensuring compliance with federal disclosure and privacy requirements.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in records review, disclosure analysis, investigative documentation, EEO case processing, FOIA review, or classified information handling who thrive in highly detail-driven environments.

Details
Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

What You'll Do
- Conduct detailed line-by-line reviews of investigative records, affidavits, Reports of Investigation (ROI), EEO case files, and supporting documentation to identify information requiring protection or redaction.
- Apply redactions in accordance with Executive Order 13526, the Privacy Act of 1974, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and applicable customer policies.
- Document and justify redaction decisions using appropriate exemption authorities and classification guidance.
- Prepare files for authorized release by ensuring all redactions are accurate, defensible, and policy compliant.
- Maintain organized tracking and management of sensitive case files and disclosure review activities.
- Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) supporting disclosure review and redaction workflows.
- Support government reporting requirements by contributing metrics, status updates, and compliance documentation.
- Safeguard sensitive personal and classified information while ensuring strict adherence to privacy and disclosure standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or 9+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience reviewing and redacting sensitive U.S. Government documents, investigative records, or classified materials.
- Experience applying FOIA exemptions, Privacy Act protections, classification guidance, or disclosure review standards.
- Proficiency using Adobe Acrobat Pro or similar redaction and document review tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce precise, defensible documentation.
- Strong written communication and analytical skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense customers.
- Background in EEO investigations, disclosure review, legal records review, or investigative file processing.
- Familiarity with FOIA workflows, classification review processes, and records management practices.
- Paralegal, legal assistant, records management, or information governance experience.
- Experience developing SOPs or process documentation in regulated or classified environments.
