Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Software Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Automation Test Engineer, you will support the Wideband Control Integration Test Division at Tobyhanna Army Depot ensuring the reliability and functionality by identifying issues before the software reaches end-users. Effective testing by the Test Team improves end-user satisfaction by ensuring the software meets all war-fighter needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to create programs, functions, and capabilities by writing code in a variety of computer languages
- Be able to self-task and make decisions while working in a fast-paced changing environment
- Support and enhance automation testing for various satellite systems for PdM Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (WESS)
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- 1 or more years of experience in coding and software pipelines in a professional or academic environment
- Must have experience working with React and Python
- Must be able to work within a small team
- Must be able to self-task and make decisions
- Must have the flexibility to work within a changing environment
Education
- High School Diploma
Desired Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is a plus
- Experience working with virtual environments (VMWare, ProxMox, Hyper-V)
- Experience working with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience working with sprints or in an agile environment is preferred
- Cloud Computing experience

- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one
