Job Description

Position Summary

MAG is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a C5ISR vehicle integration contract in support of Product Manager, Command Post Modernization (PdM CPMod).

The ideal candidate will bring successful Government program management experience, including management of customer relationships, deliverables, financial performance, quality, operations, safety, and subcontractor activities, as well as proven leadership experience building and managing cross-functional teams.

This is an onsite role at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland, and in the immediate vicinity.

Position is contingent on contract award.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to :
  • Serve as the Senior Program Manager and primary interface with the Government customer, including the PCO, COR, technical points of contact, and other customer stakeholders
  • Lead planning, execution, and oversight for C5ISR vehicle integration, engineering, fabrication, installation, test, fielding, logistics, training, configuration management, and post-fielding support activities
  • Perform technical program management, budgeting, scheduling, trade-off analysis, lifecycle costing, risk management, supportability, test and evaluation, and requirements development
  • Manage contract deliverables, program schedules, cost performance, manpower reporting, risk items, action items, and customer status reporting
  • Lead cross-functional program teams and manage subcontractor performance, including schedule, cost, quality, staffing, safety, security, and technical execution
  • Coordinate and support kickoff meetings, technical interchange meetings, program reviews, customer briefings, and other contract-required meetings
  • Oversee issue resolution, change management, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across program execution
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, safety requirements, security requirements, configuration management processes, and Government property/accountability procedures
  • Prepare and deliver program briefings, status updates, decision-support materials, and executive-level presentations for senior Government, customer, and company leadership


Requirements

Experience:
  • 10 years of experience managing Government programs, with at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity

Education:
  • MA/MS/MBA from an accredited college or university; however, five additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
  • Relevant academic coursework may be substituted for required experience on a year-for-year basis, with one academic year at an accredited college or university in a related post-secondary degree program equivalent to one year of experience

Certifications:
  • Must Have - Project Management Professional "PMP" OR DAWIA Level III Program Management

Clearance:
  • Must Currently Hold a Secret Security Clearance or Higher
  • US Citizenship required

Preferred:
  • Experience managing communications or C5ISR integration on Army tactical vehicles
  • Experience supporting NGC2, CPMod, or related Army command post modernization efforts
  • Master's degree in business, accounting, program management, operations management, or engineering

Other:
  • Percentage of Travel Required (CONUS/OCONUS): Approximately 10%

Salary:
  • $180K-$200K

The projected compensation range for this position is $180k to $200k (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
