SAIC has an immediate need for a Software Test Engineer to support the Battle Space Software Designer Team located on Redstone Arsenal, AL.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will develop software test plans, conduct test case steps and report results. The candidate will submit software problem reports, and work with other members of the team to accomplish the development mission.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- BS degree and two (2) two years related experience; six (6) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networking, routing, switching, and other basic network concepts
- Prior experience working in a fast paced Government program
- Experience testing, operating BSD, or other military systems
- Experienced military trainer
- Knowledge testing/integrating software
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Active Secret Security clearance
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience operating software on Linux
