Scope of Work: The role will support the Cloud Engineering, Transition, and Modernization Support Services (CETM) effort for Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) in support of the Marine Corps Application and Hosting Services (MCAHS) Integrated Product Team (IPT). Marine Corps Business Operations Support System (MCBOSS) is a cloud-enabled environment that allows Marine and Navy users to access and build applications by implementing DevSecOps methodology to increase the security and speed at which software can be developed and delivered.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Agile Release Train (ART) Engineers to prepare and elicit requirements for Scrum ceremonies
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying needs
Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
Draft and update supporting technical documentation
Collaborate with technical teams to understand system architecture, cloud environments, and operational constraints
Support coordination for cross-functional activities across engineering, cloud, cybersecurity teams
Translate technical information into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Support communications across multiple levels of stakeholders, including technical teams, program leadership, and government customers
Prepare and deliver clear, concise briefings, status updates, and other reporting as needed
Requirements/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field or related area
5+ years experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or technical specifications development, preferably in government or enterprise IT environment
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and DevSecOps principles and practices
Preferred experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence and JIRA)
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
Strong problem-solving and design skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Ability to work in a self-guided manner and excellent organizational skills
Must be a US citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Security Clearance
