Senior Enterprise Architect - Federal UAF/DODAF
Remote | Supporting USCG Headquarters | Secret Clearance

D&G is seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to support the U.S. Coast Guard Office of the Chief Enterprise Architect (CG TECH-4). This role works directly with the Chief Enterprise Architect (CEA) to document and advance the organization’s target architecture and enterprise governance processes. As the senior SME on this contract, you will direct development of enterprise architecture products, evaluate artifacts for quality and compliance, and support executive-level decision making. This role includes regular engagement with veteran government employees (GS-15), senior executives, senior military officers (O5/O6), and flag officers.
What You Will Do
• Support the USCG Chief Enterprise Architect (CEA) and act as a Trusted Advisor on enterprise architecture governance and strategy
• Develop and articulate a strategic vision for the EA program target state
• Draft target architecture artifacts and transition plans aligned to federal architecture standards
• Lead qualitative analysis of enterprise architecture artifacts and framework alignment
• Provide executive-level briefings with defensible recommendations
• Develop long-term planning documents including vision statements, strategies, and roadmaps
• Align enterprise architecture efforts with evolving mission and resource priorities
• Lead stakeholder engagements across technical and non-technical audiences
• Ensure architectural products meet federal governance and quality standards
• Manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic federal environment
What We Are Looking For
Required:
• 15 years of Enterprise Architecture experience within Federal, DoD, DHS, or Combatant Command environments, or 12 years with a master’s degree or higher
• Demonstrated experience developing and governing enterprise architecture artifacts in accordance with federal architecture frameworks
• Strong experience applying the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or significant DoDAF expertise with the ability to transition architectural artifacts to UAF
• Experience supporting enterprise architecture governance processes within a federal organization
• Experience briefing and advising GS-15, SES, or Flag-level stakeholders
HIGHLY Preferred:
• PRIORITY CANDIDATES - MBSE experience using Cameo or similar modeling tools in support of UAF or DoDAF architecture development
• PMP, FAC/PM, or equivalent certification
• Experience working within a CIO or CTO office
