- You will serve as a senior technical and operational authority at the forward edge of U.S. Navy combat systems development.
- You will lead the end-to-end execution of high-visibility Test and Evaluation programs for Aegis and Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS).
- You will lead the full lifecycle of complex combat systems Testing and Evaluation events, from initial customer requirement analysis, planning, and funding coordination to live-fire execution and formal post-event reporting.
- You will serve as the principal technical authority, translating fleet and programmatic requirements into executable test plans.
- You will act as the primary government point of contact for all assigned events, expertly managing communications and expectations with senior leaders to ensure mission success.
- You will provide operational control and safety oversight for live-fire exercises.
- You will possess the capability to qualify as a Range Control Officer (RCO) and act as the responsible official for the safe expenditure of naval ordnance.
- You will provide expert analysis and recommendations to shape SCSC's long-range strategic development roadmap, ensuring facility capabilities align with the evolving needs of the fleet and next-generation combat systems.
- You will balance technical authority, customer engagement, fiscal oversight, and safety compliance while supporting SCSC's mission and long-term modernization objectives.
