Job Description

Duties

  • You will supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of data analysts, assigning work based on project priority and individual capability while overseeing all performance management and administrative functions.
  • You will develop and implement comprehensive training methodologies for staff-with a special emphasis on emerging technologies like artificial intelligence-to ensure personnel are fully certified and equipped to support major enterprise programs.
  • You will manage organizational staffing levels and strategically allocate personnel, equipment, and budgets to balance evolving customer demands and meet critical program contingencies.
  • You will drive continuous process improvements and institute strategic initiatives to eliminate production bottlenecks, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce overall infrastructure costs.
  • You will represent the organization in high-level working groups and brief senior executives on complex logistical and technical issues, exercising diplomacy and tact when navigating opposing viewpoints.
  • You will oversee the delivery of high-quality Integrated Product Support (IPS) and readiness analytics throughout the entire life-cycle of complex operational systems, from initial acquisition to long-term sustainment.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Applying the principles, practices, and concepts of logistics management; 2) Utilizing data analytic tools and processes for Aviation maintenance and supply; 3) Executing program management, including life-cycle support, systems acquisition, and sustainment; 4) Managing Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements for aircraft, engines, and support systems; 5) Presenting complex technical information, project status updates, and cost analyses to diverse audiences, including senior officials and stakeholders; 6) Conducting group and one-on-one meetings to communicate objectives, provide guidance, and resolve issues; and 7) Exercising diplomacy and tact in negotiations, conversations, and briefings, particularly when addressing opposing viewpoints.
