A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the NH-4 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-3 or GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

Help
- Provides leadership to subordinates and technical guidance to executive/management level representatives from the Military Services, DCMA, and other Government Agencies.
- Serves as the Command Quality Assurance Director for quality assurance, quality assurance engineering, and ad hoc working groups as required.
- Principal advisor to the MAJCOM Regional Commander and to the HQ, aligns to HQ functional director (SES-level) providing field feedback and critical analysis of all policy, training and tools to better equip acquisition workforce with adequate tools.
- Develops, implements, and maintains policies and procedures.
- Improves Quality Assurance capabilities of the Agency.
- Assures the Agency's Quality Assurance policies, processes, and practices are in agreement with current Government and Industry best practices.
- Provide quality support to DoD, the Services, and Industry Associates.
- Actively participate in Government and Industry Professional organizations and committees on Quality Assurance.

- Experience with providing direction, maintaining ethical standards, and leading teams in executing complex contract management and operational responsibilities in a high-accountability Department of War (DoW) environment.
- Managing and evaluating a Quality Assurance program engaged in the production and manufacturing of programs of a complex nature.
- Supervising and directing subordinates who are engaged in the performance of a wide variety of quality assurance functions.
- Applying acquisition policies and guidance, conducting studies, and providing resolution for technically complex issues.

- Obligated Position: This is an obligated position and occupancy is subject to the return of former incumbent. If former incumbent fails to return to the position, occupancy may become permanent.
- For current permanent DCMA employees eligible as a Promotion, this position will be filled as a Temporary Promotion NTE 1 Year and may be extended up to a total of five years or converted to a permanent promotion without further competition. For current permanent DCMA employees eligible as a Reassignment, this position will be filled as a Reassignment or Detail and you may be granted Administrative Return Rights to your previous position. For all others, if selected, this would be a Time- Limited Appointment NTE 1 Year, and extended in increments of up to one year, NTE a total of six years. The selected applicant will be required to sign a written agreement acknowledging the conditions of this temporary assignment and that they may be released from this position upon management discretion.
- Acquisition, Technology & Logistics(AT&L) NON-CAP: Position requires DoD Acquisition Practitioner, Engineering & Technical Management certification within required timeframes.
