GEOINT History Program Specialist, Senior
The Opportunity:
Support an intelligence community client's history department by raising historical a war eness through publications, lectures, exhibits, and outreach. Be a part of telling the client's story to the workforce and general public. Apply professional museum quality standards and provide advice and assistance with the inventorying and enforcing accountability procedures for historical artifacts. Assist in internal charge out and external loan procedures for artifacts. Advise on artifact selection, storage, and curation requirements. Work with a historian to create and compose displays, posters, and exhibits. Assist in the planning and execution of internal information, and community and media relations activities for historical and museum programs. Work with the client's news team on developing articles and other historical publications. C ond uct archival processing, customary basic preservation procedures, inventorying, and entering records met adata. Assist in collaborative efforts with client records management and the National Archives, advising on documents suitable for displays and exhibits. Organize archival records and apply the proper classification systems to facilitate access to archival materials. Research and record the origins and historical significance or archival materials. Locate new materials and advise government customers on acquisition, preservation, and display possibilities. Provide museum management support, including an annual update of the tour guide. Provide guided tours of the museum and exhibits, and assist with preparing the tour script.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 8+ years of experience in a history, geography, library science, museum studies, or museum science role
- Experience supporting or managing museum operations, including exhibit development, artifact curation, and preservation
- Ability to research, develop, and produce a high volume of historical content for various audiences, including articles, exhibits, so cia l media, podcasts, and internal or external publications
- Ability to apply and maintain proper classification and cataloging systems for archival materials
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, Library Science, Museum Studies, or Museum Science
