Job Description

As a Security Officer Continuous Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol professional, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels and documenting activity in detailed reports.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify that only authorized personnel and/or visitors enter designated areas, following badge, visitor management, and escort procedures as required.
• Support site operations by observing for policy violations, reporting maintenance and/or facility concerns, and assisting with evacuations, drills, and other security-related responses as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
