Clearance: Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.

Summary/Objective

Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for administration of the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure including Microsoft Servers, ESX VMware, clustering, Storage Area Network (SAN), end-user devices, and Cloud technologies.
• Ensure information systems' security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability; Information Assurance (IA) requirements compliance; application policies and procedures adherence.
• Develop and design solutions to meet customer requirements. Implement, plan, and create documentation.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers and systems to ensure a stable and reliable server infrastructure in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
• Responsible for support of mission-critical systems and infrastructure used for day-to-day operations.
• Responds to end-user requests for troubleshooting assistance, coordinating across multiple IT sections and disciplines to provide analysis and support of tier 2 and tier 3 IT incidents.
• Technical expertise is applied to manage Active Directory user accounts, groups, and devices.

Required Education and Experience

• Must meet one of the following at a minimum: a) Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field, or b) four (4) years' experience supporting and/or managing Microsoft server products.
• Experience providing tier 2 or higher support for server technologies such as Active Directory, SAN/NAS, VMware, SQL, or IIS, required.
• Must meet baseline certification requirements in accordance with DoD 8570 IAT-II category or higher.
