Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an Acquisition Analyst located at MacDill AFB, FL in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics' (SOF AT&L) Directorate for SOF Science and Technology (S&T).
DIR-S&T discovers, evaluates, and accelerates emerging technologies to preserve SOF's operational advantage by linking operators with government labs, academia, industry, and international partners. Through rapid assessment events, technical experimentation, and streamlined collaboration mechanisms, DIR‑S&T reduces duplication, leverages external R&D, and matures high-potential solutions across priority capability areas such as warfighter performance, battlespace awareness, resilient communications and computing, scalable effects, and signature reduction. The directorate also drives the transition of prototypes and software into acquisition pathways, strengthening innovation pipelines and expanding SOF's access to non-traditional partners and small business technology.

Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
Certifications: DAWIA Advanced Equivalency (DAWIA level III equivalent), and in the Program Management field.

On-site/Hybrid/Remote: Position may be located offsite from MacDill AFB, but must have access to government secure spaces at the level associated with the required clearance stated. If off-site, computer equipment will be provided by the Government.
Travel: Position must support frequent (quarterly or more) travel, to include limited notification as short as 14 days prior, to locations including but not limited to SOFWERX, SOFIC, and USSOCOM in support of various Acquisition Agility objectives

Responsibilities
- Supports S&T (SOFWERX/USF-IDIQ/eSOF-Vulcan) in development, implementation, and control of non-traditional financial, contractual, and technical aspects of projects/programs through designated phases of the acquisition cycle.
- Independently DRAFTs, coordinates, and manages final reporting of recurring SITREPS to USSOCOM senior staff, TMTs, portal management, and various taskings from the Director, S&T.
- Assists with the planning, development, strategy, and execution of various special projects, reporting to SOF AT&L senior leadership. Works independently to meet assigned project goals/objectives.
- Prepares, presents, defends, and interprets DoD and commercial studies to the Director S&T and/or other management officials.
- Brief higher levels of management on program progress, problems, and other factors of interest or inquiry.
- Provides Support to the Engage SOF (eSOF) Program: eSOF submissions' staffing, monitoring, and closing; eSOF account creation/maintenance; eSOF metrics; logistics coordination for SOF-peculiar product/service/capability discussions or demonstrations

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, database management, and SharePoint portal management
- Working Knowledge of the Engage SOF (eSOF) application
- Working knowledge of military protocol
