Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and driven Program Quality Engineer for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX. You will be the Quality Engineer Senior for the ATACMS team.
What You Will Be Doing
You will utilize Quality Engineering methods and leadership to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets.
Support root cause, corrective and preventive action investigations/ decisions/ validations. Candidate will assist various management, staff, vendors/suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives to ensure compliance to customer contractual requirements and continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of cost, efficiency, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
Play a key role in executing initiatives associated with the Quality organization.
your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Supporting return to green plans for key quality metrics.
• Interfacing with Production, Shop Floor Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering and customers.
• Support/Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
• Track and Support First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
• Support internal and external audits
• Collaborate with stakeholders/counterparts from various functions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Oversight of requirements implementation for assigned Suppliers
• Provide local customer interface
• Travel may be required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college in technical disciplines (e.g. engineering field)
- Problem solving skills
- US citizenship required with ability to obtain an interim secret clearance
- The ability to work an evolving shift schedule that will include weekend and off-shift hours, as required to support program objectives.
Desired Skills:
Experience in Manufacturing or Quality engineering position.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems and Processes in production and/or procurement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of non-conformance handling and disposition.
- Certified in lean, six-sigma quality engineering methodologies and root cause corrective action training/certification
- Knowledge of SAP operating systems, Automation Framework, EPDM, P2P, and Apriso.
- 1+ years of related quality engineering experiences
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments while meeting customer requirements

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
