A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

As a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-0346-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Provides doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities policy (DOTMLPF-P) analysis, assessments and best military advice for Joint, Multinational, and Interagency logistics information systems, information and data-related strategies, concepts, technologies and capabilities.
- Coordinates with the Office of Secretary of Defense, Combatant Commands, Military Services, Defense Agency, and Interagency senior logistics personnel to monitor, assess and influence logistics information systems, information and data-related strategies, concepts and capabilities.
- Reviews and assesses logistics data and/or IT-related DOTMLPF-P changes.
- Gathers and documents Combatant Command (CCMD) and Joint Staff information requirements to support operational logistics decision-making.
- Exercises managerial authority to develop long-range work plans and schedules while overseeing same for contracted activities/analyses.
- Determines, structures and allocates work assignments to division personnel that support and align with organizational goals and priorities.
- Identifies division resource requirements, conducts efforts to acquire those resources and performs resource management planning and execution activities for resources acquired and/or allocated to the division.

- Assessing and influencing Joint, Multinational, Interagency, and Mission Partner logistics information systems, technology, data and digital modernization strategy investments and implementation efforts;
- Directing development of data, provision of expertise and insights and secures legal opinions;
- Preparing position papers or legislative proposals and executing comparable activities that support development of goals and objectives related to high level program management.
