U.S. Embassy - Moscow, Russia | OCONUS | T wo (2) year deployment commitment
Join IDS International's Cleared Programs team supporting secure and mission-critical environments.
IDS International is seeking experienced Russian-speaking protective security professionals to support close protection operations within a U.S. Embassy environment in Moscow, Russia. This role combines protective security responsibilities with operational language support in a highly controlled overseas environment.
Personnel assigned to this role must be comfortable operating in a high-security environment with elevated counterintelligence awareness requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance required
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
U.S. License : Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record within the past three (3) years
Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent

Work Schedule & Conditions
Standard Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 60+ hours per week based on operational requirements
Overtime : Opportunities for overtime may be available based on staffing and operational needs
Flexibility Requirements : Schedule and shift assignments are based on U.S. Embassy and RSO operational requirements

This role combines protective security responsibilities with operational language support in a highly controlled overseas environment.
Personnel assigned to this role must be comfortable operating in a high-security environment with elevated counterintelligence awareness requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide close protection services for senior diplomatic personnel
- Support protective movement operations and coordination activities
- Conduct advance preparation for movements and operational activities
- Operate armored and unarmored vehicles
- Prepare written reports, logs, and operational documentation
- Staff static security posts as directed
- Provide Russian language support during operations as required
Required Qualifications
Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance required
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
U.S. License : Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record within the past three (3) years
Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent
Required Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Minimum one (1) year of close protection experience
- Experience operating armored and unarmored vehicles
- S3/R3 Russian language proficiency
- Strong written communication and reporting skills
- Candidates will undergo a language proficiency evaluation during the client approval process. Continued consideration and employment are contingent upon meeting required linguistic standards.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout secure facilities for extended periods
- Ability to work extended shifts in a secure operational environment
- Ability to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Radio communication proficiency
- Experience operating in overseas or diplomatic security environments
- Strong situational awareness and accountability standards
Work Schedule & Conditions
Standard Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 60+ hours per week based on operational requirements
Overtime : Opportunities for overtime may be available based on staffing and operational needs
Flexibility Requirements : Schedule and shift assignments are based on U.S. Embassy and RSO operational requirements
Compensation & Benefits
- Moscow Rate: $ 61.71 per hour
- Housing provided
- Three (3) paid 14-day R&R periods during initial deployment commitment
- Quarterly bonuses
