Job Description

Duties

  • You will establish on going procedures to assess the effectiveness of the commands Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) program.
  • You will evaluate processes to determine the effectiveness, efficiency, and fiscal soundness of Force Protection programs.
  • You will develop program plans, task statements, project schedules and other supporting documentation required to establish an adequate technical project baseline.
  • You will oversee project execution for compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • You will maintain statistical correlation of all funds associated with assigned projects to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.
  • You will develop written instructions or memorandum that is clear, concise, and can be understood by the intended audience.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Program Management Career Field Level III. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties 1) Coordinating the planning, engineering, design, and construction of assigned Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection projects; 2) Managing project budgets and ensuring contract deliverables and payment milestones are met; 3) Ensuring project actions are documented, coordinated, tracked, and resolved; 4) Develops networks and builds alliances; collaborates across boundaries to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals; 5) Manages programs and fosters and environment that administers all resources in a manner that instills public trust while accomplishing the mission; 6) Monitors progress and evaluates outcomes to improve organizations efficiency and effectiveness.
