Aircraft Maintenance Operations
Location: Greenville, TX
Minimum Clearance Required: Secret
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.
As an Aircraft Maintenance Operations, you will be responsible for being a Line Maintenance Technical advisor for 747 aircraft operations. FAA Airframe and Power Plant 747-400/8 Airworthiness Authorizations and instructor subject matter expertise required. Facilitate management, oversight and training of maintenance operations for unique and complex aircraft and mission through problem management advising as required by customer. Advises maintenance crew to support safety and compliance while meeting stringent mission timelines.

Who You Are and What You Need:
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant certificate.
- FCC with Radar Endorsement.
- 747-400/8 Airworthiness Authorizations.
- Designated Maintenance Instructor General Maintenance Manual.
- Engine Run & Taxi Operations.
- Government-issued photo ID.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an active aircraft maintainer with instructor qualifications and prior maintenance operations experience in heavy jet aircraft.
- Familiarity with USAF operational/test instructions, FAA policies/regulations, and maintenance logistics and operations.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance operations, flight line management, or maintenance control.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Knowledge and proficient understanding of DoD and FAA rules and procedures
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
- Demonstrated skill in problem solving, decision making, logistics management, program & production management abilities
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, or on-call availability to address urgent maintenance needs.
- Ability to travel to CONUS locations as needed by the contract.
What You Will Do:
- Advise maintenance support for all aspects of FAA A&P 747-400/8 flight and ground operations including planning meetings, inspections, testing, offsite trouble shooting and product employment considerations.
- Assist in rapidly determining and advise on executing maintenance solutions to problems encountered by customers.
- Provide subject matter expertise and advise on on-site training activities.
- Advise on troubleshooting actions for in-service aircraft issues.
- Ensure rapid response to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations and provide troubleshooting expertise to maintenance crew completing repairs.
- Participate in flight activities to facilitate maintenance requirements.
- Support remote working meetings in connection with maintenance operations and execution.
- Maintain FAA ratings and recency of experience requirements for FAA A&P 747-400/8.
- Provide technical support to aircraft programs.
- Collect, analyze, and track aircraft Quality Performance Indicators and make recommendations to Program Managers to improve aircraft reliability and maintainability.
