Due to the requirement for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of the systems supported, this role is performed full-time on-site at a BAE Systems facility.

Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

In the Cybersecurity, Senior ISSO position you will make impacts in the following ways;
- Responsible for supporting the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process for systems handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). This includes ensuring adherence to NIST SP 800-171 and NIST SP 800-53 standards, as well as alignment with internal corporate security policies.
- Manage the CUI lifecycle by supporting the identification, proper marking, and safeguarding of sensitive information in accordance with federal registries. You will play a critical role in maintaining the security posture of assigned programs by managing the continuous monitoring of security controls, maintaining detailed records of CUI handling, and supporting the reporting of any unauthorized access or handling incidents.
- Drive the administrative and educational aspects of compliance by developing comprehensive system security documentation and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), while assisting in the delivery of essential CUI policy training to personnel. Your efforts will culminate in the regular assessment and auditing of security controls to ensure the ongoing integrity and confidentiality of all sensitive information.
Due to the requirement for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of the systems supported, this role is performed full-time on-site at a BAE Systems facility.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and DoD Intermediate certification commensurate with DoD 8140: Job Code 722, within 6 months of hire.
- Well-versed in Information System Security Management practices, particularly those related to on-premise cloud computing practices and governance.
- High level of personal motivation and initiative to learn and acquire new skills, and adapt seamlessly to an ever-changing security environment
- Customer focused, excellent communicator and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong background in information technology with a clear understanding of the challenges of cybersecurity
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Secret clearance.
- Intermediate Certification for DoD 8140: Job Code 722.
- Previous experience within the Aerospace and Defense sector.
- Experience overseeing the accuracy and completion of Continuous Monitoring activities, self-inspections, corrective action plans, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
- Experience delivering policy training to personnel.
- Ability to align federal standards with internal corporate security policies.
- Familiar with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-171
- Knowledge of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
- Knowledge of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Clauses 252.204-7012, -7019, -7020, & -7021
