Summary:
• Design, install, and test RF systems and SATCOM hardware.
• Conduct site surveys, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Utilize RF test equipment for measurements and non-linear analysis.
• Produce technical documentation, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical leadership.

• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Total Compensation: $194k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, install, and test RF/SATCOM hardware across various frequency bands (C-, X-, Ku-, Ka-, Q/V-band), considering environmental effects.
• Conduct site surveys, perform antenna work, rack hardware, and operate earth-terminal control consoles for communication links.
• Execute preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance; troubleshoot malfunctions; apply anti-jamming techniques; and enforce safety procedures.
• Utilize advanced RF test equipment (e.g., Keysight PNA-X, FieldFox, Spec-A, signal generators, oscilloscopes, BER testers) for comprehensive measurements and non-linear analysis.
• Produce technical documentation including AutoCAD/Visio drawings, block diagrams, schematics, engineering plans, and test reports.
• Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, including system architects and program managers.
• Travel up to 15% worldwide to support installations, testing, and maintenance in diverse environments.
• Demonstrate hands-on proficiency with RF test equipment and experience in developing maintenance schedules and safety documentation.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reports and briefings.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities for complex RF hardware troubleshooting and performance improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring, including supervising maintenance activities and training personnel.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as carrying equipment, climbing antennas, and racking hardware.
• Deep knowledge of RF design, installation, and testing, with a strong focus on SATCOM systems.
