Job Description

Title:
Orbital Warfare Operations Integrator

KBR is seeking a highly experienced Orbital Warfare Operations Integrator to support Combat Forces Command (CFC) Mission Area Teams (MATs). This role serves as a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) integrating orbital warfare concepts, operational readiness, requirements, acquisitions, and mission delivery across government, program offices, and operational stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in space operations and orbital warfare, strong cross-functional integration skills, and the ability to operate effectively at the HQ staff and program execution level.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support Orbital Warfare MAT Operation Integration and Mission Delivery (OIMD) and Weapon System Readiness Reviews (WSRR).
  • Review and validate Force Generation Elements (FGEs) within the OIMD process.
  • Coordinate between Program Offices and SpOC to ensure accurate status of system delivery, operational transition, sustainment, and disposition.
  • Develop, update, and present quarterly OIMD briefings; provide recurring and ad-hoc status updates to senior leadership.
  • Participate in and lead MAT program tag-ups and Integrated Capability Team (ICT) meetings; capture and disseminate action items.
  • Draft and coordinate WSRR, IOC, and FOC recommendation briefings.
  • Support system acceptance activities, including development of System Training Plans.
  • Review Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for orbital warfare weapon systems.
  • Support Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) activities for space systems.
  • Conduct operational risk analysis supporting rapid capability delivery and DevOps initiatives.
  • Draft and refine operational concepts, CONOPS/CONEMPs, operational acceptance plans, and OPSEC plans.
  • Support requirements development, refinement, and maturation for OW MAT weapon systems.
  • Conduct technical analysis, COA development, and white paper development in support of joint urgent and emergent operational needs (JUONs, JEONs, EREQMs).
  • Provide PPBE support, including POM/UFR documentation, funding execution tracking, and resource recommendations.
  • Coordinate with government financial, programmatic, and operational stakeholders to support fiscal execution.
  • Review Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and recommend updates.
  • Support strategic basing actions, site surveys, and basing action request (BAR) packages.
  • Participate in exercises, tabletop exercises (TTXs), and wargames; collect and upload lessons learned.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI and SAP access, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
  • 10+ years of experience in space operations (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience specific to Orbital Warfare operations, acquisitions, or HQ-staff level support.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting operations integration, readiness reviews, and mission delivery.
  • Experience working with Program Offices, operational commands, and senior government stakeholders.
  • Strong briefing, writing, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in classified environments.


Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Experience with strategic basing, exercises, and wargames.
  • Familiarity with PPBE, space system requirements development, and space acquisitions.
  • Experience supporting operational acceptance, IOC/FOC processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and briefing development tools.
  • Bachelor's degree (technical discipline preferred).


Work Environment:
  • Location: Colorado Springs, CO
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Working Hours: Standard


Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40hrs

Basic Compensation:

$115,000 - $125,000

This range is for Colorado only.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
