This position is contingent upon contract award and position availability. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer of employment, which will become final only upon successful contract award to Maximus, availability of the position, and receipt of authorization to proceed.
This role is hybrid and may be based out of either the Springfield, VA or Stennis, MS location, with an anticipated requirement to work on-site approximately 50% of the time and occasional travel to other site locations, based on customer needs.
An active Secret clearance is required.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end O&M operations across all technology platforms including data centers, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), enterprise networks, collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint), and 80,000+ end-user devices to ensure 24x7x365 service continuity and zero degradation during IMPACT II transition
- Oversee platform management, patching, and configuration control including application/server patch management, change/configuration management, systems inventory/documentation, vulnerability scanning remediation, and coordination of all maintenance windows to minimize operational impact
- Manage disaster recovery (DR) and continuity of operations (COOP) by implementing and testing COOP Test Plans, coordinating failover procedures, maintaining DR documentation, conducting annual updates to reflect environment changes, and ensuring business continuity readiness across 400+ locations
- Coordinate incident response and break-fix operations including monitoring 35+ billion security events monthly, triaging operational incidents, managing service desk escalations, coordinating with SOC and technical teams for rapid resolution, and maintaining incident tracking systems
- Ensure SLA compliance and performance monitoring by tracking operational metrics, conducting quality audits, validating service delivery against established SLAs, reporting performance status to Program Manager, and implementing corrective actions to maintain 100% SLA adherence
- Manage cross-functional technical coordination between infrastructure teams, security operations, network engineering, systems administrators, and vendor partners to synchronize provisioning, deployment activities, integration efforts, and operational handoffs
- Lead operational process improvement initiatives by implementing automation tools, developing operational runbooks/playbooks, establishing standard operating procedures, conducting operational readiness reviews, and applying Agile/CI-CD principles to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing complex IT task orders or projects, including responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and technical delivery. Proven ability to work directly with government stakeholders, apply industry-standard project management methodologies and tools, and deliver solutions for projects of similar scope and mission complexity.
- BA/BS required
- 10+ years of required work-related experience
- Hybrid with travel to various locations such as Springfield VA and Stennis MS.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- ITSM Experience and/or Certifications
- ITIL
- PMI / PMP
- Experience in a Secure, 24/7 Operations Environment
