Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Oracle Web Administrator to support our client onsite at Hill Air Force Base, Ogden, UT. The Oracle Web Administrator will support secure web and application services by administering Oracle WebLogic environments, maintaining internal and external websites, and ensuring performance, availability, and security for mission-critical systems .
Responsibilities of the Oracle Web Administrator include:
· Administer, install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments, including domains, managed servers, and clusters
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune WebLogic and JVM performance, including connection pools and resource utilization
· Deploy and manage Java/J2EE applications with high availability, load balancing, and failover configurations
· Implement and manage WebLogic security, including LDAP authentication, SSL, and role-based access controls
· Maintain and update internal and external web content in coordination with development teams
· Track and analyze website performance metrics, usage data, and usability findings to recommend improvements
· Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and business continuity documentation and procedures
Qualifications for the Oracle Web Administrator include:
· Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant professional experience (advanced degree may substitute)
· Active or Interim Secret clearance
· Current CompTIA Security+ certification
· Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration and Java/J2EE fundamentals
· Experience supporting Linux/Unix and Windows server environments
· Knowledge of JVM tuning, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, and enterprise web infrastructure
· Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
