Contracts Manager
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation, review, revision, and administration of government contracts and subcontracts.
- Lead proposal planning and contract administration activities throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Prepare contract briefs, modifications, change notices, and revisions summarizing contractual requirements, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor contractor performance and track deliverables, milestones, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain complete audit-ready contract files and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, contract specifications, and government requirements.
- Coordinate contract closeout activities and support audits or reviews as required.
- Provide contract status updates, risk assessments, and summaries to leadership and program stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional teams to ensure contract execution aligns with organizational objectives and customer expectations.
- Master's degree (MA/MS/MBA) from an accredited college or university in Business, Finance, Contracts, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator within a DoD environment.
- Highly specialized knowledge of government contracting practices, FAR/DFARS regulations, and contract administration processes.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university plus an additional 3 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the master's degree requirement.

- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously
