Junior Material Handler

Position Description:

• Responsible for government and corporate property handling, including receiving, shipping, tracking, reporting, and disposition of government and corporate assets
• Facilitate and ensure government and corporate assets are properly labeled, maintained, and calibrated
• Maintain asset databases
• Maintain timely and accurate inventory records, and transfer documents.
• Receive and quality check of equipment/material

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel

Required Skills:

• High School diploma or GED
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Desired Qualifications

• Shipping and receiving experience
• eQuip Asset Management software experience
• Bachelor's degree
• NPMA Certified Property Specialist
• Experience with online, International and Hazmat shipping
• CDL License
• Prior forklift experience and/or certification is a plus
