Our vision is to cultivate an ecosystem where NALEJ OS, an Enterprise Open Source platform, facilitates seamless and secure interactions from cloud to edge. By offering dual-use technologies across DevSecOps, DataSecOps, AI+ML Ops, Cyber Ops, and Network Ops, NALEJ provides a secure and efficient environment for both defense and businesses customers. We deliver services through SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Hybrid, and Air-Gap models, focusing on secure data exchange without direct exposure of sensitive information. Our commitment to innovation includes providing secure edge networks and ensuring compliance with IL4-IL6+SAP MOSA, NIST, and Zero Trust standards.
We are seeking an experienced Cloud and Systems Platform Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective product platform architectures across hybrid multi-cloud and edge computing environments. You will play a key role in driving technology strategy, mentoring teams, and delivering solutions that meet the dynamic needs of modern digital applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design: Develop and own end-to-end architectural blueprints for cloud and edge platforms supporting next-generation applications.
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor cross-functional engineering teams through best practices, technical reviews, and continuous learning.
Solution Delivery: Drive the successful execution of platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and product objectives.
Technology Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert across cloud platforms, open-source tools, edge technologies, and IaC.

Experience integrating emerging Agentic developer frameworks
Understanding of data pipelines and model lifecycle management in distributed systems.
Proven experience designing and deploying hybrid multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private clouds).
Strong familiarity with the CNCF open-source ecosystem (e.g., Kubernetes, ISTIO, KeyCloak, Prometheus, etc.).
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi, Terraform or Ansible,
GitOps & CI/CD — GitLab CI, Kaniko image builds, Helm + Kustomize rendered into a deploy repo, ArgoCD syncing every workload
Hands-on experience with edge computing platforms, particularly data with Kafka or IoT sensor integration.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance considerations.
Solid programming/scripting ability in languages such as Python, Go, or Shell.
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal communication skills.
Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex technical environments.
Example Projects You Might Lead
Architecting and implementing a secure, air-gapped hybrid multi-cloud strategy with focus on performance, compliance, and cost optimization.
