Job Description

FWI is building a team to deliver professional and administrative support services for the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) in Washington, DC. As an Acquisition Consultant, you will support CSOSA's procurement operations across the full acquisition lifecycle - preparing solicitations, evaluating proposals, performing cost and price analyses, drafting award documents, and assisting program offices with SOWs, market research, and IGCEs, all while ensuring contracting activities are executed in compliance with the FAR and agency requirements.

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare solicitations for commercial and non-commercial services and supplies across a variety of contract types
  • Prepare and review justifications that limit sources pursuant to FAR Parts 6, 8, 13, and FAR 16.5
  • Contract with GSA Schedule contracts issued by GSA
  • Assist technical evaluation teams and perform cost/price analysis of contractor proposals
  • Prepare contracting officer competitive range determinations, award determinations, and award documents
  • Perform contract administration including invoice resolution, modifications, REA analysis, and contract closeout
  • Assist program offices with SOWs/SOOs, market research documentation, IGCEs, and acquisition plans


Qualifications

Required:
  • Minimum 15 years of comprehensive federal acquisition experience across FAR Parts 6, 8, 13, and 16.5
  • FAC-C (Professional) or DAWIA Level II/III certification, or equivalent
  • Former GS-14 1102-series federal contracting experience or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with GSA Schedule contracts
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Desired:
  • Experience soliciting and awarding construction services at amounts below, at, or above the simplified acquisition threshold
