Intelligence Systems Division (ISD) has an opening for a Financial Analyst - Level 4 on the financial team within the Intelligence & Sensing (I&S) Business Unit (BU). The role will report to the I&S Finance Manager and will be responsible for the financial analysis of the I&S BU and supporting programs.

Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Strategic planning, reporting, and analysis of key financial metrics (Sales, Margin, Cash, Awards) for the I&S BU. Includes quarterly Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) contract profitability assessment, cash flow/balance sheet management, risk and opportunity assessment
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial deliverables and analysis
- Communicate financial progress and provide insight to senior leadership on regular basis
- Support monthly BU Operations reviews through preparation of financial content, including Quarter and Full Year forecast variance narrative and upside/downside sensitivity assessment
- Lead development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) through collaboration with Business Development and Program Management
- Lead ad-hoc exercises for financial impact/profitability analysis
- Collaborative work style: ability to interface with different functions and levels of leadership both internal and external to the BU
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, while maintaining high attention to detail with minimal supervision
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics (or related field) - OR - Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics (or related field) - OR - PhD with 4 years of professional experience in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics (or related field)
- Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
- High proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Experience with financial reporting tools (SAP, Cobra, Cognos/NGFP)
- Financial analysis and reporting including development of forecast and profitability
- Detail and results oriented; ability to deliver timely and accurate analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the aerospace & defense industry
- Analytical; makes recommendations using acquired data and experience
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
