The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $195,000. This range is a good-faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. At CyberCore, we consider multiple factors when determining compensation, including the specific role and its responsibilities, the candidate's professional experience, geographic location, education, and relevant skills. This range is not a guarantee of salary, as final compensation may also be influenced by contractual requirements and other considerations.

- Performs network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks. Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents. Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration. Schedules conversions and cutovers.
- Provide input to the design of the organization's network and mission architecture.
- Reports any known or suspected COMSEC incidents immediately.
- Perform configuration, test, deployment, and maintenance of all network equipment.
- Configure and optimize the network to connect various front-end and back-end components.
- Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput through design analysis and network performance monitoring tools.
- Develops algorithms used in modules or incorporated into models associated with the research and development of technologies and systems.
- Ensures that all material received is inspected for evidence of tampering and, if any is found, submits a report of suspected physical incident immediately.
- Configure and maintain the organization's network diagrams and accreditations.
- Integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DoD/IC regulations.

- Design, integrate, test, and deploy solutions to established network issues.
- Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.
- Coordinate with appropriate dataflow organizations, end-customer recipients, follow-on data repositories, and tasking organizations, and mitigate potential adverse impacts on system-wide dataflow.
- Implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include loadbalancing, VPN's, firewall contexts, Traffic Shaping, Voice over IP (VoIP), GRE Tunneling, IP Security(IPSec), IP Encryption, Media over IP (MoIP), and network address translation (NAT). (U) Coordinate with the system engineering and dataflow efforts to ensure proper mission operations to minimize downtime.
- Design solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test, and provide ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices, interfaces, and methodologies.
- Gather needed data to specify system/component performance and interface requirements.
- Manage, develop work schedules, and direct the work of junior-level engineers.
Required Skills
- Twelve (12) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support is required.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline is required.
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the total years of experience to six (6).
- Five (5) additional years of relevant experience providing Network Engineering support may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- Compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I or higher, is required.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
