Oracle Web Administrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Oracle Web Administrator to support a company focused on modernizing legacy U.S. Air Force network infrastructure and migrating mission-critical services into a secure AWS cloud environment. This position is on-site at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah . The Oracle Web Administrator will manage, secure, and optimize enterprise web and application server environments supporting a highly secure DoD customer. This role directly contributes to strengthening and modernizing systems that enable national defense operations.

Responsibilities for the Oracle Web Administrator include:

• Administering, configuring, and maintaining Oracle WebLogic server environments, including domains, managed servers, clusters, and J2EE application deployments
• Monitoring and tuning WebLogic and JVM performance to ensure high availability, load balancing, and system reliability
• Managing web security configurations including SSL, LDAP authentication, user roles, permissions, and encryption controls
• Supporting web and intranet infrastructure services while implementing backup, recovery, and business continuity plans
• Analyzing site performance metrics, conducting usability testing, and collaborating with development teams to improve system effectiveness

Required Qualifications for the Oracle Web Administrator include:

• 2+ years of experience with web administration, application servers, or enterprise web environments
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server, Java/J2EE fundamentals, JVM tuning, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, and Linux/Unix and Windows server environments
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, performance optimization, security implementation, and cross-team communication
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
• Active or Interim Secret clearance and a current CompTIA Security+ certification

Compensation for the Oracle Web Administrator includes:

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience
