About The Role
We're seeking an Engineering Process Consultant to provide tactical support for data management process implementation and maintenance across our customer's organization. This role will focus on developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), creating metrics to measure data governance effectiveness, and providing guidance to teams performing data management work.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teams across the organization to ensure effective data governance and management processes.

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role

Primary Responsibilities
SOP Development and Maintenance
- Review and update existing SOPs related to data governance and management to ensure alignment with current best practices.
- Develop new SOPs as necessary to support evolving data management needs.
- Develop metrics to measure the success of and compliance with data governance and management initiatives.
- Monitor metrics and provide regular reports to Sponsor.
- Provide support to teams and individuals performing data management work.
- Assist in troubleshooting data management issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Participate in data management meetings, planning sessions, and reviews under customer direction.
- Support data management initiatives by ensuring data is properly cataloged, tagged, and shared per organizational standards.
- Assist in maintaining organizational data standards and ensuring compliance with data governance policies.
- Maintain documentation on how cataloged data moves through systems.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with poly
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining SOPs
- Demonstrated experience creating and monitoring metrics for data-related initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in data management, including data cataloging.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with data governance and management practices and best practices.
- Experience with data management tools and technologies, particularly Tableau, Power BI, Jira, and Confluence.
- Ability to analyze data-related metrics and provide actionable insights for process improvements.
