Overview
Razor is seeking experienced Databricks Platform Administrators to support large-scale commercial and federal data modernization initiatives for a Client client. This role focuses on standing up, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Databricks environments used by enterprise analytics and engineering teams. These positions are funded and actively hiring immediately, supporting high-demand programs across government and commercial sectors.
Education & Certification Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred depending on contract requirements
Databricks Professional Certification strongly preferred
Clearance Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Ability to obtain a TS clearance
100% Remote Requirement
Occasional client travel may be required
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Databricks platform environments
Configure workspace settings, cluster management, permissions, and platform security
Support onboarding and integration of enterprise data sources
Monitor platform performance, stability, and usage optimization
Troubleshoot platform issues and support engineering teams
Assist with cloud integrations and infrastructure coordination
Implement governance, compliance, and operational best practices
Qualifications
2–3+ years of hands-on Databricks administration experience
Strong understanding of Databricks platform architecture and configuration
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms
Ability to troubleshoot platform and data integration issues
Eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Skills
Experience in government or federal consulting environments
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation
Experience supporting highly regulated environments
Strong collaboration and communication skills in client-facing settings
