Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a GSI Lab Infrastructure & Test Manager 3. This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program.

What You Will Get To Do:
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Test Manager 3 for Lab Infrastructure & Test to join our team of highly qualified and diverse individuals. This manager will lead a diverse team of Electrical, Mechanical, Simulation, and Software Engineers developing and using the GBSD Guidance and Aerospace Vehicle Element (AVE) Laboratories. The manager is responsible for leading Guidance System and Power & Distribution System test bed design; development of laboratory real-time, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop simulations and test equipment; and establishing verification and validation strategy approach. The manager is also responsible for leading system integration and performance test planning and execution in the Guidance and AVE Laboratories in preparation for flight campaigns and key ground test activities. This role is responsible for management and governance for multiple lab spaces. This role requires the lead to perform program management responsibilities which includes staffing, career development, functional support to enable team success, cost account management, and scope ownership. The individual will collaborate with Systems Engineering, GN&C Analysis & Algorithms, Guidance Computer, NIMS, Software, System Test, Command & Launch, and PBACM teams. reports directly to the Guidance Systems & Flight Systems Software Director.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $227,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 6 years with a Masters
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- Background in aerospace systems; basic understanding of missile systems, GNC, warheads, and survivability
- Familiarity with role of real-time simulators in HWIL usage
- At least 3 years of experience with system or subsystem test and integration in engineering laboratory environment
- At least 1 year of experience in supplier management
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a formal lead / management position to include Earn Value Management
- Technical leadership experience, direction and mentoring to other technical employees in the application of scientific principles, tools and techniques to achieve practical end results.
- Knowledge of configuration management best practices
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and meet program commitments in a highly concurrent engineering environment
- Ability to effectively maneuver through political situation and anticipate roadblocks
- Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal direction
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Agile approaches and Model-Based Engineering (MBE)
- Prior experience leading teams of 10+ members & scope valuation of $50M+
- Demonstrated record of collaboration among multiple teams, disciplines, and suppliers
