The Life Extension 2 team is an organization within the greater FBM program which supports the development of the Next Generation System by developing concepts, researching, and maturing technologies to support the development of the next FBM Missile System.

What does this role look like?
The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a
Facilities Project Manager to join our mission!
As the Facilities Project Manager, you will be overseeing the strategic plans to include space and capacity management, as well as new facility construction. This role will interface and need to collaborate with the Navy customer, program subject matter experts, the facilities team, and be able to present status, mitigation and recovery plans to the Senior leadership team.
The successful candidate will:
• Oversee and manage the facilities capability optimization
• Will lead a team of Project Engineers to optimize capabilities at FBM facilities.
• Review statuses of projects and budgets
• Manage schedules and prepares status reports.
• Present solutions to the customer and Senior Leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Management/leadership experience
• Understanding of project management
• Experience developing executable program plans and baselines.
• Eligibility & willingness to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Background in project management, staffing and capacity management, Facilities space planning/management
• 5+ years leading diverse groups
• Knowledge of FBM Facilities
• Experience with DOD Customers.
• Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Engineering (Systems, Industrial, or the like).
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
