Description:The Lab Manager will work with the team to oversee the multi use software test laboratory that supports the THAAD Ground Software organization. Partnering closely with the THAAD Ground Software Test Engineering Manager, the incumbent will plan, execute, and sustain test operations, ensuring the lab is secure, fully configured, and ready for all THAAD program activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lab Custodianship
• Serve as one of the primary custodians for all lab hardware and equipment.
• Maintain classified network infrastructure, COMSEC items, and software licenses.
• Test Operations Support
• Coordinate software build deliveries and facilitate testing activities.
• Create, maintain, and enforce test bed logs, documentation, and configuration control.
• Manage user accounts, security verifications, and access controls.
• Facility Management
• Participate in planning for power, HVAC, and other facility requirements.
• Lead weekly lab support meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Documentation & Training
• Produce/maintain procedures, installation guides, diagrams, and other technical artifacts.
• Provide briefings to senior leadership, government, and industry stakeholders.
• Program & Resource Coordination
• Develop test schedules, resource plans, and budget estimates.
• Promote a "Safety First" environment and enforce all safety protocols, including Foreign Object Debris (FOD) awareness and mitigation.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in system test engineering, software development, integration & testing, or hardware/software test laboratory environments.
Test planning, test bed configuration, equipment readiness, and software license management.
Strong written and verbal skills; proven ability to brief executive level management and external customers.
Demonstrated success working across multiple engineering disciplines.
Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher).
Desired Skills:
• Direct experience with THAAD fire control or launcher software development/testing.
• Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) processes and THAAD customer requirements.
• Knowledge of classified network & COMSEC management in a high security lab environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
