Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer. In this role, you will review, evaluate and derive requirements for testability, develop and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. You will coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations, performs analysis of test results, and prepare comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Additional tasks include writing discrepancy reports and performing integration regression testing to verify and validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of
• Software development process
• Agile scrum methodology and/or agile tools (Jira, Version One)
• Received a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

Desired Skills:
• Understanding of the software development process
• Familiarity with agile scrum methodology and/or agile tools (Jira, Version One)
• Strong problem solving skills, communication skills, and team player
• Interest in at least one of these skill areas: requirements definition, system architecture, software testing and verification
• Current or prior security clearance with the US Government

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
