This role acts as the "connective tissue" between the client, design, development, and testing. You will be responsible for identifying logical gaps in complex systems and ensuring that every stakeholder has a clear, documented path forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Discrete Requirement Discovery: Extract granular requirements from high-level policy goals and client feedback, ensuring no detail is overlooked before it enters the development cycle.
- Gap Analysis & Logic Mapping: Proactively audit workflows to identify "dead ends" or inconsistencies. You will create process flows and logic diagrams to visualize system behavior and suggest structural improvements.
- Confluence & Jira Management: Take ownership of the project's documentation. This includes building out Confluence pages as the "single source of truth" and writing precise User Stories in Jira with clear acceptance criteria.
- The Four-in-a-Box Collaboration:
- Design: Partner with the Lead Product Designer to ensure the functional logic supports the user experience and design system.
- Development: Provide engineers with clear, unambiguous specifications to minimize rework and technical debt.
- Testing: Work with QA to ensure test plans cover all documented edge cases and system states.
- Client: Act as the primary liaison to refine the client's vision into executable requirements.
- Agile Governance: Drive and participate in all Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to keep the cross-functional team in sync.
- Compliance Integration: Ensure all requirements and improvements are built with Section 508 accessibility and federal standards as a baseline requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in product or systems analysis within a federal healthcare or highly regulated environment.
- Documentation Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Jira and Confluence, with a proven ability to create structured documentation and complex logic flows.
- Analytical Precision: A track record of taking vague concepts and turning them into structured, logic-driven requirements.
- Interdisciplinary Communication: Exceptional ability to facilitate technical discussions between designers, developers, and non-technical client stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- System Architecture Support: Experience mapping out complex system states and business rules for large-scale application upgrades.
- Accessibility Stewardship: Deep understanding of how to translate Section 508 standards into functional requirements for the development team.
- Business Process Modeling: Proficiency in tools like Lucidchart or Visio to create the visual flows that supplement your Confluence documentation
Public Trust Clearance: This role will require the hired candidate to go through public trust clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is required to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship.
