Job Description

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is bidding on a Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) contract and looking for an experienced Project Manager to provide full-time, on-site leadership and oversight of all contract operations supporting the CBP Air and Marine Operations Center.

This role is responsible for executing C4I systems maintenance, engineering, integration, and operational support in alignment with mission priorities, performance standards, and contractual requirements.

Location is Riverside, California.

This is a contingent position based on MAGs possible contract awarded.

If signed you are guaranteed first right of refusal for the position if we are awarded the contract.

Award date is tentative but start date (for now) states September 2026

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership, management, and supervision of all contract personnel and resources
  • Serve as primary interface with the Contracting Officer, COR, and Government stakeholders
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage activities aligned to real-time mission requirements
  • Develop and maintain staffing plans ensuring qualified personnel coverage across all task areas
  • Oversee execution of maintenance, engineering, integration, and operational support across AMOSS, ISR, and telecommunications systems
  • Ensure adherence to schedule, cost, and performance objectives
  • Review work discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Represent the contractor at all technical and programmatic meetings
  • Manage task assignments, workforce utilization, and surge support requirements
  • Ensure compliance with security, quality assurance, and reporting requirements
  • Coordinate travel and deployment of personnel to support offsite mission needs


Requirements

Experience:

10+ years:
  • Providing overall leadership, management and supervision of C4I project resources to ensure:
  • Work standards are formulated and enforced
  • Leading a C4I multi-discipline team
  • Representing the company in all matters related to the contract
  • Assigning and managing customer projects
  • Supervisory/management experience in engineering, communications, and/or computer related fields
  • Experience supporting maintenance and sustainment of C4I, AMOSS, or ISR systems in operational environments
  • Experience troubleshooting complex system issues across hardware, software, and network components
  • Experience working with mission equipment, maintenance tools, and COTS systems
  • Experience using diagnostic and test equipment to identify and resolve system faults
  • Demonstrated understanding of operational requirements and ability to apply technical procedures in mission environments

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; experience may substitute for degree

Certifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Clearance:
  • Active / Current Secret

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $170,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
