V2X is seeking a Risk Analyst & IPT Support Lead Senior Position for our Lexington Park, MD location and is required to be onsite position.
**This position will require an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Overview
The Risk Analyst & IPT Support Lead Senior position is responsible for the execution of Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) management across all IPTs in support of a major Department of Defense Weapons Acquisition Program and also serves as deputy to the In-Service IPT Lead, maintaining cost, schedule and performance objectives for all program related production and sustainment activities.
Risk Management Duties require working closely with systems engineers and PMs to assist in identifying risks to Program objectives and leading development of mitigation plans for minimizing those risks. The analyst works with Master Planners to incorporate mitigation plans into the Program Integrated Master Schedule, tracks the completion of mitigation steps, prepares Executive briefing materials, and supports Program reviews and facilitates RIO Management Boards with senior program leadership.
This position also serves as deputy to the Government In-Service IPT Lead. In this role the Analyst is required to attend meetings, track contract execution, and report status for all production and sustainment activities within the IPT.

Responsibilities

- Risk Management
- Participated in classified technical interchange meetings and program manager reviews.
- Assists team leads and managers in identifying and quantifying program risks issues and opportunities.
- Works with team leads and manager to develop mitigation plans and capture strategies.
- Works with schedulers to coordinate and track mitigation plans and capture plans.
- Prepares materials for an chairs weekly Risk Issue Opportunity Working Group (RIOWGP meetings).
- Prepares materials for and facilitates monthly RIPO Board meetings with Senior leadership.
- In Service IPT Support.
- Participates in all In-Service IPT related meetings and events.
- Provides recommendations for action to Government lead for Production and Sustainment activities and decision-making.
- Assist in management of cost/schedule/performance for all Production and Sustainment Contracts/CLINs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in line with the above functional description, or a Post-graduate degree in Business, Management or Technical discipline in line with the above functional description can be substituted for two years of experience.
Experience:
- Four (4) years of experience as Risk Manager for DoD weapons system acquisition program within a classified environment.
- Two (2) years of recent and relevant experience with DoD weapons systems acquisition program for production and sustainment activities.
Other Requirements:
- Clearance: Must be US Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Some travel required - approximately 3 weeks/year.
