JOB SUMMARY
The Director, Solutions & Technology is responsible for leading the Company's Integrated Guarding (IG) technology growth strategy through the design, architecture, qualification, and deployment of advanced security solutions for existing and prospective clients in defense, aerospace, nuclear, and other highly regulated industries. This role combines strategic client engagement, technical security engineering expertise, business development, and operational collaboration to drive technology conversions, expand integrated service offerings, achieve productivity savings for customers, and support long-term client retention and growth.
The position serves as the Company's lead technical and consultative resource for integrated security solutions including guarding integration, access control, video surveillance, analytics, remote monitoring, intrusion detection, alarm systems, and emerging technologies. The role partners closely with company leadership to develop scalable client solutions and ensure successful deployment and adoption throughout the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Core duties include:
Security Engineering & Solution Architecture
Lead the design, architecture, qualification, and presentation of integrated security solutions tailored to client operational and risk requirements. Develop infrastructure topologies, system layouts, statements of work, and technical solution documentation utilizing tools such as Visio and mapping platforms. Design and architect integrated security systems including access control, CCTV, video analytics, remote monitoring, intrusion detection, alarm systems, and integrated guarding solutions. Work directly with clients to assess requirements, recommend technologies, and present technical solutions in both formal presentations and consultative discussions. Coordinate closely with Technology Operations and Project Management teams to ensure seamless transition from design through implementation and maintenance. Research emerging technologies and support pilot programs, beta testing, and innovation initiatives throughout the Company. Provide technical oversight and support during RFP responses, proposal development, and solution qualification efforts.
Strategic Client Solutions & Company Leadership
Lead and execute the company's Integrated Guarding conversion and technology expansion strategy. Collaborate with the company leadership to identify opportunities to expand technology-enabled services within existing and prospective accounts. Serve as the company's primary technical and strategic liaison for integrated security innovation initiatives and client technology engagements. Assist in developing client-focused strategies, presentations, and support materials that align operational capabilities with client business objectives. Support training, awareness, and deployment initiatives to ensure field teams are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to successfully position integrated solutions. Establish performance metrics, goals, forecasting methodologies, and success indicators to measure growth, client retention, ROI, and operational effectiveness. Recognize obstacles to successful solution deployment and develop tactical plans to support stakeholders and improve execution. Select and manage relationships with a variety of subcontract partners and suppliers Serve as Project Manager, when necessary, to ensure delivery and execution of customer commitments made.
Sales & Business Development
Serve as the senior technical advisor during client and prospect engagements. Partner with the EVP, Business Development Managers, and operational leaders to identify and develop technology opportunities. Generate leads from existing clients and prospective customers through consultative engagement and solution-based selling. Develop and present integrated security proposals and technical sales presentations. Manage sales pipeline activity, forecasting, reporting, and opportunity tracking. Support bid responses, RFP development, and solution pricing strategies to maximize ROI and customer retention.

Basic Qualifications
- US citizenship preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, speak and write English.
- Must be willing to participate in the Company pre-employment screening process, which includes a drug screen and a background investigation.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain the required level of Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance.
- Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of leadership, client solutions, or integrated security experience within the security industry.
- Strong background in security systems design, architecture, and integrated technology solutions.
- Demonstrated success leading client-facing technical engagements and strategic solution development.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration preferred.
