Job Description
Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to provide Linux server administration on the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting a US Government Customer. The selected candidate will work as a Linux System Administrator maintaining a development environment that supports a waveform development network. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and coordinate tasking with team members.
Specific job duties include:
• RHEL 9 or later system administration
• Writing Python scripts to automate processes
• Managing and using containers
• Installing CUDA driver, Protobuf, and Zmg packets in Red Hat environment
• Using Gnuradio and Matlab
• Using Ansible and Kickstart for CM
• Using ACAS, Grype, and ClamAV in a container environment
• Manage Network Attached Storage
• Able to perform mitigation of vulnerability found by ACAS scan
• Application of DISA STIGs

Clearance Level

Certifications (IAT Level II)
One of the following:
• Security+ CE
• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
• Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
• System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
and one of the following:
• RHCSA Red Hat Certified System Administrator (preferred)
• LPIC-2 Advanced Level Linux Professional
• LPIC-3 Senior Level Linux Professional
• RHCE Red Hat Certified Engineer
• Linux +
Required Skills
• 3 Years of Experience with Linux Systems and Podman/KVM
• Experience with Linux and containerization environments
Desired Skills
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
• Experience with the IAVM process
