Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Maintaining and reconciling accounts, analyzing and tracing discrepancies; identifying, analyzing, and forecasting trends; and preparing detailed financial status reports.

Education
Applicants may also qualify based on education OR a combination of education and experience, in lieu of the one year of specialized experience listed above, through ONE of the following:
Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR
Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree. OR
Obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled. OR
Possess a combination of specialized experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal 100 percent.

Help
- You will develop budget forecasts and overhead cost distribution methods between many different accounts and funding.
- You will receives and review obligating documents such as purchase orders, travel vouchers, requisitions, and contract documents and review for accounting code information, making appropriate corrections where required.
- You will prepare detailed monthly financial status reports, by major object class code, for each account serviced for current and prior years, reflecting fund availability, obligations, and commitments to date and balance remaining.
- You will conduct and/or oversee semi-annual reviews of unliquidated obligations for all open fiscal years and ensure that the obligations are still valid.
- You will prepare, present, and manage the programming, budgeting, execution, and reconciliation of all travel expenditures.
