Job Description
DCS is searching for a performance-driven Senior Logistician to support US Army programs. A focus on either Financial, logistics, engineering, technical support and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. We're seeking individuals who are excited to take on meaningful challenges, contribute to innovative solutions, and help shape the future of a fast-evolving mission space. This position will be supporting multiple locations.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Operations management, supply chain management, or related degree with 7 to 8 years of experience as a logistician within the DOD environment.
6 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience.
Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination or provisioning of samples, and the minimization of obsolescence.
Develops and implements logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
Perform system life-cycle cost analysis and develop component studies.
Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations.
Stay informed of logistics technology advances, and Government policies and apply them in order to improve logistics processes

Ability to obtain a secret clearance as needed.
