Job Description
DCS is searching for a performance-driven Design Configuration Manager to support US Army programs. A focus on either configurations management, logistics, engineering, technical support and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. We're seeking individuals who are excited to take on meaningful challenges, contribute to innovative solutions, and help shape the future of a fast - evolving mission space. This position will be supporting multiple locations.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Engineering Design with 5 years, 2 of which are in a supervisory or management capacity.
1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited Engineering Design related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience. 5 years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Manage design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits.
Work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers and representatives, draftsmen and design/manufacturing engineers in a concurrent engineering environment.
Develop and administer Configuration Management Plans; Prepare for and conduct major configuration audits.
Desired Skills:
Ability to obtain a secret clearance as needed.
